內容

課程概述

本課程將介紹「後攝影藝術」與「AI生成圖像」之比較及整合，以藝術家自處的文化、情感、直覺與經驗為主的影像表現到電腦數據的學習與指令下所產出之詩意美學等均是此跨域課程探討的重點。雖然這兩者所呈現的影像表現均是透過人類創造力的引領，但他們之間存著不同的「感性 (即human creativity)」及「理性 (即AI techniques)」之創製手法，學生應了解影像創作的本質和觀點，才能多元深入並結合運用AI來更智慧性的創造影像之情感與意境。

近年AI藝術逐漸成為被關注的議題，吸引了藝術家和廣大藝術愛好者的注意。隨著AI能力的不斷增強，這種新世代的藝術產物常與人為藝術作品混淆難分。儘管有許多令人興奮的話題圍繞著AI藝術，但它也引發了複雜的倫理、法律和藝術問題，以及關於藝術定義、藝術家角色和藝術品未來發展上的爭議。

This programme will introduce the comparison and integration of ‘post-photography’ and ‘AI-generated image’. It will be focused on the investigations for the creativity of artist / photographer and the poetic work produced by artificial intelligent through diverse cultures, emotions and experience etc. Although these artistic images and expressions are generally guided by human creativity, but they have different ways of thinking and working, and even in technology. Students in the course should be aware of the nature of image-based art practice in order to combine various points of view and go further in creating the poetics of post-photography and AI art.  

AI art has been a growing topic of interest in recent years, attracting the attention of artists, art lovers, and the wider public. With the increasing capabilities of AI systems, this innovative approach to creating art has led to the generation of works that are sometimes indistinguishable from those created by human artists. Despite the excitement surrounding AI Art, it also raises complex ethical, legal, and artistic questions that have sparked debates about the definition of art, the role of the artist, and the future of art production.

* 了解靜動態影像在「藝術美學」及「人工智慧」之間的相互關係。

* 國內外當代藝術性、商業性與跨域性影像作品研究分析。

* 藉由作品個案講授、學生口頭報告與作品發表等方式，培養對未來「新世代」影像美學上的認知。
