內容

課程概述

本課程乃為對小說創作有興趣的同學所設計。透過作品理論研讀與每週實務寫作，修課同學可習得小說人物、對白、場景與觀點等基本敘事技巧，並培養深度鑑賞分析小說之能力，期以激發學生創造與文字運用能力，寫出具有文學水準的短篇小說。

This foundational course in short story writing is geared toward students who are interested in fiction writing. Students will learn about character, dialogue, scene, point of view, and narrative description in fiction. The course provides them with the opportunity to develop the ability to analysis selected short fiction and to work on stories of their own.

小說定義與故事的核心。為什麼要讀小說？為什麼要寫小說？小說中的人物、對白、場景、觀點與敘事技巧。現代短篇小說傑作選讀。短篇小說創作練習。作品討論。
