課程概述 |
本課程本學期的主題是明瞭材料科學與化工技術的定義與現代的發展,以及現代材料科學與化工技術的設計與分析。設計的部分以燃料電池為主軸;分析的部分則著重在因次分析、圖形分析、與生醫工程。另外,化學工程的專業定義和現代發展過程也會仔細解說。本課程主要講解的現象包括固體在液體中的運動,液體在圓管中的熱傳,氣體的壓縮性,以及冷凝分離。教學內容與授課方法均配合化工系之核心能力的培養,包括應用數學、化學、和工程知識的能力,以及將自然現象、程序系統、單元設備模式化並加以解析的能力。訓練學生達成生活上的廣泛應用。 The subject of this course for this semester is chemical engineering and materials science design and analysis. The lectures will begin by explaining the definition and modern development of the profession of chemical engineering. Then, the teaching will cover fuel-cell design and two engineering analysis methods: dimensional analysis and graphical analysis. Moreover, biomedical engineering will also be covered. Some major engineering phenomena which will be taught are solid sphere moving through a fluid, heat transfer from a fluid flowing in a tube, gas compressibility, and separation by condensation. The lectures are designed to match the fundamental requirements of chemical engineering students, including mathematical modeling of natural and manufacturing process phenomena and solving models by knowledge synthesis of science and mathematics. |
