課程概述

中國古典戲劇自發源起經歷了多次轉型，各階段均累積了相當多的傑出劇作，也呈現了每個時期的藝術追求與文化面貌。劇本的閱讀可以讓學生以第一手資料深入當時劇作家的思維情境與文化氛圍，體認古典戲曲所傳達的不止是一種「藝術體系」，更是一種文化的傳承與價值觀的建立、以及文化美學的延續。課程將輔以影音資料，以照見古典的創作在今日的存續與再創作的意義。

Since its origins, Chinese classical drama has undergone many transformations, accumulating quite a number of outstanding plays, and reflecting the art goal and cultural situation of each period as well. The script reading allows students to get first-hand information, dig deeply into the playwright's thinking and feel the cultural atmosphere at that time. This course will help student to recognize the classical opera is the way to convey more than just an "art system" it is also a rich cultural heritage. The course will be supplied with audiovisual materials to see the significance of the survival and creation of classical creations today.
