內容

課程概述

「流行」屬於一個多重論述的用語，而「文化」也在綜合了政治與經濟兩大範疇的物質基礎之後所呈現出來的意識、意義與感受，這也正是當代青年益發需要瞭解與分析「流行文化」的重要性。什麼才算是流行文化？「流行」與「文化」熟重熟輕？流行文化的文化製品與青年文化、生活方式、族群特色、性別理念以及在地文化之間的連結特色可能為何？凡此種種，都是本課程能夠提供的基本常識。

The term 'popular' would be controversial because of its multi-accentual connotations.  And the meaning of the term 'culture' also pertains itself to the sphere of social production and reproduction of sense, meaning and consciousness. This course contains the introductive materials as well as the assignments that ask you to connect the course material to the events outside the classroom and to your own lives. Welcome to the class.
