內容

課程概述

「新聞史」與「新聞學」為新聞專業核心基礎的一體兩面，前者記述期發展變遷，後者探討當前產業實際運作概況，不論是「史」與「學」的學習，都是為了展望未來，為未來投身於新聞事業奠定基礎。因應新聞事業從數位化、轉向匯流，現又導入AI人智慧，本課程探討新聞傳播與媒體環境的演變，包括基本概念、媒體與社會關係，以及人工智慧的應用。探討人工智慧對新聞產業的影響，以及相關的倫理議題和應對策略。最後，展望未來新聞與AI的發展趨勢，讓學生深入了解兩者之間的關係，並思考在媒體環境中的挑戰和機遇。

This course explores the evolution of news communication and media environment, including basic concepts, the relationship between media and society, and the application of artificial intelligence. It discusses the impact of artificial intelligence on the news industry, as well as related ethical issues and coping strategies. Finally, it looks ahead to the future trends in news and AI, enabling students to gain a deep understanding of the relationship between the two and to contemplate the challenges and opportunities in the media environment.

授課內容

老師講授部分包含：解說新聞、新聞活動、新聞功能、新聞本質、新聞事業、新聞產製、新聞哲學等單元；每一節課理論講授告一段落，保留15分鐘，讓同學瀏覽前一周的重大新聞，並分組討論，以實際新聞報導驗證方才講授的理論，並上台分享。再透過新聞比較報告，讓同學統整所學、運用分析、體驗實作。輔以測驗和考試，強化應有之基本認識。
