內容

課程概述

本課程以數位素養概念切入，著重透過人工智慧等工具，提升學生對於當代資訊工具的認知並熟悉使用技術、並進一步習得尋找，評估、交流資訊的能力。最終目的在於使同學培養了解資訊工具並通過社會參與以溝通及協同運作的方式善用科技，瞭解人工智能如何改變我們接觸的媒體內容並衝擊社會不同階層民眾之間的互動和生活，讓技術協助全民培力，創建更民主的社會。

This course aims to help students gain better understanding of artificial intelligence and its impacts on society as a way to enhance digital literacy. We will begin with definition and history of AI technology and explore some major developments in AI technologies. Students will also be provided with examples in different uses of AI contents applied in the journalism, film and other aspects such as climate change, healthcare, and policing etc and encouraged to critically evaluate the application and the future of the AI systems in our society.

授課內容

    本課程以數位素養概念切入，培養學生在數位時代有理解並善用人工智能技術發展的能力。本課程依授課周數可略分為三部分。第一部分是對人工智能系統的介紹，包含定義、歷史、以及其「智能內涵」的演進（機器學習、深度學習等），再以較具代表性的人工智能系統來說明這些演進；第二部分逐漸檢視人工智能在訓練、學習後的成果展現，除了概略說明訓練方式及影響成果的各因素外，也實際由新聞採訪寫作、電影內容中舉例說明；最後一部分則是回到社會議題中觀察人工智能到目前為止的應用以及可能出現的問題為何。
