課程概述

本課程旨在介紹數據視覺化的理論和實踐應用在新聞傳播以及其他專業領域，並著重於學生通過 Tableau 軟體的實際操作來深入理解。課程將從大數據視覺化的基本概念開始，涵蓋到設計和建立不同類型的視覺化圖表，以及如何應用這些技術來分析和呈現不同專業領域的數據資料。通過本課程的學習，學生將能夠運用所學知識和技能來解決本科專業在真實世界所遇到的數據問題，並為未來的職業生涯做好準備。

This course aims to introduce data visualization theory and practical applications within news broadcasting as well as other professional domains, with a focus on students gaining hands-on experience through operating Tableau software. The curriculum will commence from basic concepts of big data visualization, cover designing and creating various types of visualizations, and demonstrate how these techniques can be applied for analyzing and presenting data across diverse professional fields. Through learning this course, students will acquire knowledge and skills that enable them to solve real-world data problems encountered by their undergraduate majors, thereby preparing themselves for future careers.
