內容

課程概述

本課程目的在使同學從日常生活所接觸的產品或話題中，了解其相關之生物技術，並讓學生進一步了解相關生技產業之發展狀況，最後則讓學生思考這些產品背後的社會議題。而主要的內涵有1.使學生認識在其生活中相關的生技產品與技術，2.思考並分析這些產品背後之社會議題。

The purpose of this course is to enable students understanding the related biotechnology of the products or topics which exposed to in their daily lives. Further, let students have a better understanding of the development of related industries. Finally, students are thinking about the social issues behind those bio-products.

The main purposes of this class are as follows: 1. To enable students to understand the relevant biotechnology products and technology in their life, 2. Thinking and analysis of these products behind the social issues.

授課內容

生物技術是幫助改進人類生活的一門科學。 人們使用生物技術的方法這麼多年已\產出許多具有價值的產品。在這門課程中，我們將談論日常生活所接觸的產品或話題中，如DNA鑑識及親緣關係鑑定、GMO 基因改良作物及食品、市售“多胜肽”健康食品及美容產品...等，了解在這領域內基本的生物技術方法而且是具有實用性的新技術。
