課程大綱

內容

課程概述

針對非本科系之外院/外系大學部中高年級學生設計之大氣科學基礎課程，適合非專業領域之學生修習。利用在已上映之各式商業電影中的各種與大氣科學相關的片段誘發學生學習之興趣，並解釋或說明大氣科學的背景知識與其背後的物理機制，並檢視情中的偽科學議題。同時透過課堂活動誘發學生養成科學思考的習慣，並訓練學生面對不同意見時的正確科學態度。

This is a special course for junior to senior level undergraduate students who are not major in earth sciences. In this course, published commercial movies related to atmosphere topic will be discussed. The background information and physical mechanisms of each topic will be evaluated. Course will focus on comparing real and pseudo-science topics. After taking this course, student should learn critical and creative thinking about atmosphere related topics.
