| This course will select the outstanding music compositions from the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary from the history of Western culture. By introducing the characteristics and uniqueness of each work, and knowing the historical background of the stories behind, that will connect us with their literature, painting and their culture. By listening to works from different time period, we understand the aesthetic connotation of music, and cultivate the ability to appreciate humanities and art, then enriching the value of life and pursuing self-growth. |
