設立宗旨

近年來國內、外運動賽事經由衛星轉播，讓大眾能夠輕易地透過3C產品取得觀賽經驗，為了培養學生對運動賞析的能力與觀賞賽事的結構，使其欣賞運動之力與美的展現與完整的判斷能力，以促進國人對賽事參與度及觀賽的涵養。

本專長主要使學生了解不同國家與人種對於各單項運動競技的體態展現，進而從運動中探討運動實務與選手訓練範圍；透過實際賽事或運動欣賞，深入帶領學生了解選手在競賽的背後得透過「運動科學」的輔助使運動生涯能夠達到巔峰以展現運動實力，除了培養第二專長外，亦能提升賽事觀賽人口。
